There are 2 festival campsites: Campsite 1 is on Kelsall Green - the field behind the Lord Binning pub (previously the Morris Dancer), where camping is permitted around the main festival marquee; Campsite 2 is an alternative camping area situated a short distance away by public footpath, with vehicle access via Flat Lane (see map below). There are toilet and washing facilities on all sites - unfortunately we do not have the necessary space, electrical power or water pressure to provide showers.

Both sites are restricted to weekend ticket holders.

Campsite rules must be followed if we are to be permitted to have future festivals in this village.
We apologise for any inconvenience - your co-operation is appreciated.

Campsite 1

The site is divided into 2 areas:

1. Caravan Area

Only caravans, campervans and cars are allowed in this area.

Caravans and campervans must be at least 3 metres (approx. 10 feet) apart, although cars may be parked in the spaces between vans.

Tents are not allowed in the caravan area.

Regrettably we do not have space for awnings.

2. Main Tent Area

Tents and trailer tents are allowed in this area, and must be at least 3 metres (approx. 10 feet) apart.

Cars are not permitted in this area, but you may drive your car on to unload and then remove it afterwards to one of the car parking areas, which we have tried to locate as conveniently as possible.

There is no space for camping on the Village Playing Field.

General Notes for Campsite 1

As 3m is actually less than the minimum distance recommended by the Fire Safety officer, it is essential that great care is taken when cooking. Stoves and barbecues must never be left unattended when lit and a container of water should be placed nearby while barbecues are in use. Open fires are not permitted anywhere on the site.

Vehicles may only be driven on the site by holders of full driving licences and the 5 mph speed limit must be strictly observed.

Please keep all the roadways marked on the map clear of tents, caravans or vehicles.

Please help to keep the campsites tidy by placing all rubbish in the bags provided and putting these in the skips after use. In particular, please clean up after you dog. Bags for this purpose can be provided - please dispose of these in a bin bag or skip after use and not leave them lying round the campsite.

Please keep campsite noise to a minimum - in particular: no drums or amplification and no noise at all after 2 am .

Campsite 2

This is a QUIET site - there must be no noise at all after 10 pm and no music or singing at any time. This is because the field adjoins several houses and also it is not licensed for live music.

Tents and caravans must be at least 3 metres (approx. 10 feet) apart.

You may park your car next to your tent or caravan.
