Venues and Pubs

As always, the main festival site will be Kelsall Green - the field behind the Morris Dancer pub. The concert marquee will be situated there, together with the Craft Fair, Children's entertainment and the main campsite.

Although the Morris Dancer remains closed, the land around it will still be the main hub of the festival. We’ve arranged for a large beer tent from a local mobile bar supplier and this will be stocking a selection of beers from two local breweries: Spitting Feathers and the ever popular Weetwood, plus a range of ciders. There will also be a small marquee for sessions, workshops and other acoustic events.

The Morris Dancer grounds will as usual be the location for the site office, first aid post, morris displays, car parking and several food vans supplying a large selection of different cuisines. Other venues we will be using are Kelsall Community Centre, Kelsall Social Club, the Farmers Arms and, for the first time this year, Kelsall Methodist Church Hall.

The Royal Oak is not taking an active role in the Folk Festival this year, however they are open for food and drink during the weekend.

Camp Sites

As well as the main camp site on Kelsall Green, we have a large quiet site situated on Flat Lane. This year we have use of the whole of this field and we are hoping to be able to provide a pedestrian access directly into it from the main site.

For map and more information on camp sites, see our campsite information page. As always, camping will be limited to weekend ticket holders and must be booked in advance.
