About Chester Folk Festival

Who are we and what do we do?

Welcome to the website for Chester Folk Festival.

We are a group of folk enthusiasts and a registered charity, whose aim is to promote folk music events in the Chester area.

Our main activity is organising the Chester Folk Festival which takes place annually over on the last weekend in May in the village of Kelsall, about 8 miles from Chester. The dates for the next Chester Folk Festival are the 24th - 27th May 2024. We also run a number of other events throughout the year and you can join our mailing list if you would like to be kept informed!
