Donation Form

Gift Aid is a government scheme that allows charities to reclaim tax on a donation made by a UK taxpayer.

This means you can increase your donation to Chester Folk Festival by an extra 25% at no extra cost to you. As soon as you give your permission by completing a Gift Aid declaration form, we can claim the tax back on your donation. So for example, for every you donate £10, this becomes £12.50 with Gift Aid.

We are able to claim Gift Aid on your donations if you are a UK taxpayer and even if you are employed, you are still eligible if you are paying tax on any of the following:

• Personal or occupational pension

• Stocks and shares

• Bank and building society savings accounts

• Rental income

• Overseas and UK investment dividends

You can make sure that every donation that you’ve made to Chester Folk Festival in the past, and everything you donate in the future, is eligible for Gift Aid by completing this simple Gift Aid declaration form.

We will reclaim Gift Aid on your donations until you instruct us otherwise.

Not at all, completing a Gift Aid declaration does not commit you to any future donations, but any you may give will be covered by the declaration.
