Special Events & Other Entertainment:

Flavour of France (Sunday 2pm)

A music session hosted by Helianthus for people to share traditional style tunes from across France and our other European neighbours. Our popular French dance and music workshop with Rondez Vous returns in the afternoon, leading nicely on to our new 'Mini Bal' - a chance to put into practice your French dance skills to music from Helianthus and friends.

Going Underground (Monday 6 pm)

This year is the 40th anniversary of the miners’ strike. To recognise this, we have brought together some of the finest local acts to sing songs of pride and poverty, union and protest and brotherhood and betrayal, from across the mining community. No hard hats are required; canaries (or joining in yourself!) are optional.

A Cabinet of Monkies (Saturday 1pm)

Messrs Dave Ball and Neil Brookes bring you a cornucopia of: forgotten melodies, strange histories and comical songs - all connected to the days of the year.

Meet the Singer Songwriters (Sunday 2pm)

Cheshire is blessed with more than its fair share of accomplished singer songwriters, we have invited three of our best loved songsmiths, each with their own distinctive styles, to share their inspirations and songs with you.
