Directions & Venues:

The village of Kelsall is about 8 miles from Chester on the A54 between Chester & Northwich. The festival is based around Kelsall Green – a large field behind the Morris Dancer pub, Chester Road, Kelsall, CW6 0RS. The main concert marquee, festival market, children's entertainment, car parking and a limited amount of camping is on this field, and the site office and first aid are located in the pub grounds.

We have a new main campsite this year at Longley Farm – about ¾ mile away.

Other venues used are Kelsall Community Centre, Kelsall Social Club, Kelsall Methodist Church, St Philip's Church, Kelsall Wellbeing Hub, The Farmers Arms and The Royal Oak.

There will be a free shuttle bus connecting all the venues and both campsites.

Well behaved dogs are welcome on the camp sites and in the venues.

Public Transport Information:

The nearest mainline railway stations are Hartford (for those coming from Crewe or Liverpool) or  Chester (for those coming from Manchester or North Wales). For more information about train travel see https://www.thetrainline.com/

Bus service no. 82 connects Kelsall with Chester (Foregate Street) and Hartford Station, but there are no buses on Sundays or Bank Holidays. There is also a small train station at Mouldsworth (on the Chester  - Northwich line) but this is about 3 miles from the festival site and there is no regular bus service.

Accessibility:

We want to make sure everyone who attends the festival is able to enjoy the events and atmosphere to the full. We strive to make all the festival facilities as accessible as we can. We are also working to be a Dementia Friendly festival.

·         All venues and bars are accessible by wheelchair and all the indoor venues have accessible toilets.

·         There is also an accessible toilet adjacent to the entrance to the main site/Kelsall Green campsite.

·         There are reserved spaces for wheelchair users and carers in the main marquee. The seating arrangements in the other venues mean that wheelchair users can easily be accommodated.

·         Assistance dogs are welcome in all venues.

·         Kelsall Green Campsite, next to the main site, is the preferred campsite for anybody with limited mobility.

·         There are a limited number of level camping spaces on the site including some hard standing caravan spaces for people with limited mobility. These must be booked well in advance.

·         The free shuttle bus which connects the festival venues runs between 10 am and midnight during the festival,  starting at 2 pm on the Friday.  The shuttle bus drivers are happy to help passengers on and off. However the bus is not wheelchair accessible.

·         If you have any specific access requirements or queries please contact us and we will do our best to assist you.

Camping:

There are 2 festival campsites: Longley Farm (CW6 0QY) & Kelsall Green (CW6 0RZ) - see map below.

Both campsites are restricted to weekend ticket holders only. You may go straight to the campsite on arrival and show your electronic ticket to the gate staff.

Longley Farm is our preferred campsite for caravans and motorhomes. Tents are also welcome, and it is possible to camp in a group of mixed units of tents and vans, and you may park your car next to your tent or caravan

Large vehicles should approach the Longley Farm site from the top end of the village i.e. from the Northwich direction. Follow postcode CW6 0QY, then keep straight on over the bridge and follow signs.

Campsites will be open from midday on Thursday 21st May.

Dogs are allowed on the campsites and in most venues, but please keep them on a lead at all times and clear up any mess that may occur.

There are toilets, washing facilities and Elsan disposal points on each site and showers at Longley Farm.

The campsite rules detailed below need to be followed if we are to be permitted to have future festivals in this village. We apologise for any inconvenience - your co-operation is appreciated.

Vehicles may only be driven on the sites by holders of full driving licences and the 5 mph speed limit must be strictly observed. In the event of wet weather vehicle movement may be restricted.

To minimise risk of fire, please take great care when cooking. Stoves and barbecues must never be left unattended when lit and a container of water should be placed nearby while barbecues are in use.

Open fires are not permitted anywhere on the sites.

Please help to keep the campsites tidy by placing all rubbish in the bags provided and putting these in the skip after use.

Please keep noise to a minimum so as not to disturb local residents – in particular no drums or amplification and no noise at all after 2 am.

Tents and caravans must be at least 3 metres (approx. 10 feet) apart.

Additional Notes for Kelsall Green Campsite

There are a limited number of hard standing van spaces for people with limited mobility. These must be booked in advance

There are additional spaces for caravans and motorhomes on the field, but it is not completely flat and, by necessity, the site is divided into separate areas for caravans and tents.

Only caravans, campervans, motorhomes and cars are allowed in the caravan area. All vans must be at least 3 metres (approx. 10 feet) apart, although cars may be parked in the spaces between vans.

Due to lack of space, awnings are only permitted in exceptional circumstances by prior arrangement.

Tents and trailer tents are allowed in the tent area, and must be at least 3 metres (approx. 10 feet) apart.

Cars are not permitted in the tent area, but you may drive your car on to unload and then remove it afterwards to one of the car parking areas, which we have tried to locate as  conveniently as possible.
